Since 1980, Destination Canada has offered students from all over the world an unparalleled summer experience combining English learning, recreation, and travel in a safe, supervised university setting.

Students live on the beautiful campus of Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada's capital, and receive 25 hours of English instruction per week (5 hours per day) in small classes of maximum 15 students, taught by certified Canadian teachers. Morning sessions focus on grammar and creative writing; afternoons on conversation, Canadian history, and geography. Every student receives a pre-assessment on arrival, a post-assessment on departure, and graduates in a formal ceremony with a certificate of participation.

Beyond the classroom, a full 7-day activities program includes soccer, tennis, basketball, swimming in an Olympic-size pool, arts & crafts, evening events, and weekend excursions — Ottawa city tour, Museum of Nature, Park Omega wildlife safari, Upper Canada Village, Museum of Canadian History, and, for longer stays, Montreal and downtown Ottawa.

The program includes:

• 25 hours of English instruction per week with certified Canadian teachers

• Supervised accommodation in the Carleton University residence (2 students per room)

• 3 buffet-style meals per day, 7 days a week

• Organized sports and activities program, 7 days per week

• Weekend excursions per program length (Ottawa, Park Omega, Upper Canada Village, Montreal)

• All airport transfers and entrance fees to major attractions

• Medical insurance up to $100,000 CDN

• Full daytime and evening supervision, 7 days a week

• Graduation ceremony with certificate

Optional tours:

Toronto & Niagara Falls (Canada's Wonderland, Maid of the Mist, CN Tower) and Outdoor Adventure Day (kayaking, rock climbing, ropes courses, campfire).
